What Kerberized Telnet is

Kerberized Telnet consists of a modified version of the 4.4BSD lite telnet server and client (5/31/95 release). The added code is documented in the file README.andrew in the tar file. It implements authentication passing; This is only useful if you use the AFS kaserver. It also allows encrypted connections without forcing the user to autologin to get one.

Version 1.0.1 of telnet uses configure for autoconfiguration, and includes Kerberos v5 support, CAST encryption, and support for use of libkafs for authentication passing.
